Nestled in an idyllic island setting surrounded by beautiful beaches, an exclusive resort consisting of 120+ villas embarked on a mission to provide its guests with unparalleled convenience and “Value for Money.” The resort’s vision was brought to life by VS ONE WORLD, who implemented a cutting-edge Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Smart Building Solution.

The Challenge

The resort required a modern and reliable solution that would integrate various services, including broadband internet, IP Telephony, IP TV, and Wireless LAN. Furthermore, the remote location of the resort demanded a fault-resilient infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted service.

The Solution

Technology and Integration (By Expert One)

The project was realized through the deployment of a Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (GPON). Leveraging products and solutions from world-leading vendors such as HP, Planet, 3CX, Infostar, Juniper, and Molex, a state-of-the-art technology solution was designed.

Infrastructure Design and Fault Resilience (By Expert Two)

The remote nature of the resort required a robust, reliable, and fault-resilient infrastructure. To this end, the PMS and other application services were deployed on a highly available VMware virtualization platform.
